WERE YOU A BOY SCOUT OR GIRL SCOUT?Did you know that APO was founded upon the principles of the Scout Oath & Law and was recognized as the National Honorary Scout Fraternity in 1932? Membership in scouting is no longer required for membership in APO, but the Fraternity maintains a national partnership with both the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and continues to work closely with both organizations. Membership in APO is a great way to continue your service and leadership development from scouting.

WERE YOU A MEMBER OF NHS OR KEY CLUB?If you enjoyed involvement with these, or similar, groups in high school then you will love APO! Members of APO have a direct say over the chapter's service program and plenty of opportunities for leadership development beyond just holding a chapter officer position.
"If you enjoy doing service projects, representing Mines as leaders on campus, and finding like-minded individuals to establish lifetime bonds with, APO is the brotherhood for you!" - Spencer Fretwell, Mu Pi '14
